Hey there Farmville, Rubin here! I want to thank you all for stopping by the site and at least checking out what’s going on here at Small Town Tech, LLC. Full transparency, I started this company as a result of a lot of frustration. I needed more money but didn’t want to work a meaningless hourly second job after my 8 to 5 was done. I also noticed there was a huge gap in the market for IT work in this area and thought maybe I could lend a hand.
Once I started digging into actually starting the company however, something more than money and tech assistance grew in me. At my core, I wanted to simply help and make a difference in the community. Small Town Tech, LLC is a tech company, yes, but under the hood it is so much more than that. When I look around, I can’t help but notice how imaginary the world has become. I’m only 28 at the time of writing this, but the world is nothing like I thought it would be at this point and nothing like I ever remember it being. There is so much that is simply not real anymore that it’s getting harder and harder to just live and enjoy life.
When I first moved to Farmville, Marion’s Bi-Rite store was one of the greatest discoveries of my life. A small town butcher selling good quality authentic meat at great prices. Much lower prices than you would find at any grocery store, yet the quality was ten times better! Not only that, but the whole town knew him, his company, and the value he provided. Over the span of 25 years Mr. Marion built a legacy with that business and he worked right behind the counter until the day he retired and closed up shop.
One thing I believe that made Marion’s so successful, and trustworthy, was that you could walk in at almost any time and see Mr. Marion. Not only would you see him, but you’d see him behind the counter working just like the rest of his team. He was always friendly and would be glad to have a conversation with you. This is the kind of business and authenticity I want to provide with Small Town Tech.
When I said Small Town Tech was so much more than a tech company, that is what I meant. It’s as a company to come to for tech needs, but also a company where people can feel like they’re visiting a friend. So much of technical support is automated and robotic that it’s become rare to work with an actual real live human being. Small Town Tech is a company the town of Farmville, and surrounding counties, can know and trust. We want to put names to faces and be lasting provider for this community.
If all that sounds good to you, and sounds fair, I’m ready to work hard for you all and everything you’ve got going on. I appreciate you stopping by and checking out the company, and can’t wait to see you soon. Let’s do this!!!
